Change your password
Change your password from Account Settings when you know the current password, or use reset if you cannot remember it.
Change your password any time from Settings, under Account. You'll need your current password to do it. If you don't remember it, reset your password instead.

You'll need your current password. Forgot it? See Reset your password.
How to change your password
From the home page, click your profile photo in the upper-right corner.
Click Settings.
In the personal section, click Account.
Under your account details, enter your password in the Current Password field.
Enter your new password in the New Password field.
Re-enter it in the Verify New Password field.
Click the Save Settings button below the password fields.
Want to check what you typed? Click the eye icon in any password field to show it.
Tips for a strong password
Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
Make it at least eight characters long.
Avoid easy-to-guess combinations like "password" or "12345678."
Don't reuse passwords from other accounts.
Troubleshooting
My new password didn't save.
Make sure you clicked the Save Settings button directly below the password fields, not the one below your account details.
I get an error when I enter my current password.
Check for typos and make sure Caps Lock is off. If you still can't get it right, reset your password instead.
The new passwords don't match.
Retype your new password carefully in both New Password and Verify New Password, then save again. Click the eye icon to compare them.
The Save Settings button is grayed out.
Fill in all three password fields. The button stays grayed out until you do.
