Use keyboard shortcuts
Find Kittl keyboard shortcuts for general editing, tools, canvas view, layers, arrangement, text formatting, and modifiers.
Keyboard shortcuts let you copy, undo, zoom, group, and format without reaching for a menu every time. Use them anytime you want to speed up repetitive actions or keep your hands on the keyboard while you design.

Troubleshooting
A shortcut doesn't seem to do anything.
Check that you've selected the element or tool the shortcut applies to first. Some shortcuts, like formatting ones, only work while you're editing text or have an element selected.
A shortcut isn't working on my keyboard.
Shortcuts that use punctuation keys, like ;, [, or ], are mapped to US keyboard positions. On a non-US layout, the same physical key can produce a different character, so try the key in the same position on your layout rather than the printed symbol.
Pressing [ or ] resizes my eraser instead of reordering a layer.
These keys do double duty. With the eraser tool active, they change the eraser's brush size instead of moving a layer forward or backward. Switch to the selection tool (V) first if you want to reorder layers.
Common questions
Where can I see this list while I'm working?
Open the shortcuts panel from the bottom left of the editor anytime, so you don't have to leave your project to check a shortcut.
Do shortcuts work the same on Mac and Windows?
Mostly, yes. Swap Cmd for Ctrl and the rest of the shortcut stays the same, with a few exceptions noted above, like scaling from center, which uses Alt on both.
